C.J.

Mom was at work last month and got a call from a rep asking if she would come talk to some offices in Washington.  Then she found out that one of the offices was Walla Walla!  We were ecstatic, and couldn't believe that we were going to get a weekend with C.J.  She got here on Saturday morning and the kids had no idea she was going to be here.
We then went to jumping jelly beans
                                    watched youtube videos
On Monday we went to Bennington Lake.  This was Savvy's first long bike ride without training wheels and she did amazing.  It started off wonderful, everyone was happy....

                                             we had a picnic
and then everything went down hill from there.  Savvy crashed, Michael put all the kids in the bike trailer to go up a big hill and ran over dog poop that flung back on the kids, Savvy got on her bike again and then her chain came off and took us 10 minutes to get it back on, mom and I lost Michael and the kids, by the time we found them we decided that Michael would ride back to the van and come pick us up.  We waited and then mom asked if Michael had the keys...nope i had them.  When I called him he was pulling up to the car.  It was a very eventful afternoon, but still great memories.
Tuesday mom took us out to eat at Pho Sho, it was really good and the kids liked it

The kids had some interesting sleeping habits while she was in town

We stopped by the candy store
Then we had to say good-bye to our C.J.  It was a wonderful, unexpected treat!

Getaway

I got to go to Boise for the weekend to see Beth Moore.  It was such a great time and she is such a great speaker, I loved it
This is the best pic I could get of her,  She is  a tiny little thing:)
Girls I went with, so much fun!
Afterwards we went out to lunch and I was explaining my love affair with Alabama football.  Since we have moved I haven't met a fan, or heard a roll tide, nothing.  I had decided that the first person who say's "roll tide" to me with get a big hug.
While we were eating our waiter asked me where I was from and then he told me he was from Alabama...be still my heart....  I asked was he an Alabama or auburn fan.  Then the heavens opened and yes he was an Alabama fan.  I didn't hug him, but I did sneak a picture of my first fan but I don't have it anymore:(  Here was my check....it was a good day:)
While I was gone Michael kept me updated, Savannah was still taller than Cohen
and they were eating well.  It is always fun to get away but so SO good to get back.  I missed my stinkers

We've been...

Stealing mommies coffee,
                                             baking,
                                           frying,
                                          getting over stomach bug
allergic to whatever this is, (cotton maybe?)
                                             finishing up soccer camp

So things have been slow...I kid I kid:)  This is the last week of school for the kids.  We are going today to open house for Savannah's school next year.  I'm having major kindergarten anxiety...I can't stomach the idea of her being gone from me for at least 8 hours a day...ugh I don't like it

Mothers day weekend

Savvy's tooth really liked it's home, and has been loose for weeks.  Saturday morning she came in the bed  and was so excited because it was coming out.  I just twisted it and out it popped!  She was so excited and I was tearful :)

She looks so grown up to me and I have fallen madly in love with this toothless grin
                                       The tooth fairy came
The Balloon Stampede was this weekend but we missed all the hot air balloons.  They launched around 6:30 in the morning on Th, F, and Saturday and we couldn't wake up for one.  There was a festival on Saturday, corn dogs, lemonade, face painting and animal balloons.  Good times

Sunday morning we went to church, came home for lunch and then headed to the tri-cities.  We went to the mall because Savannah's only pair of jeans got a hole and I'm not Martha Stewart enough to fix it.  While we were there poor Caleb got another terrible haircut.  I didn't tell him but I think he figured it out

It was a wonderful mother's day but Michael and I both missed our moms

Muffins with mom

I had a breakfast date with two little cuties last Friday.  It was super sweet, I was showered with paper hats, tissue paper corsage, a reading of "I will love you forever" (which made me cry) and a poem (that made me cry).  Michael watched Caleb while I was there and I loved being able to give all my focus to them.

Surprise Visit

Dado and Grammy came up this week and I kept my lips sealed so the kids would have no idea about it.  They rented a car so we didn't have to pick them up from the airport...the kids had NO idea!  I was so excited Monday morning, and for breakfast Cohen wanted cereal.  I pulled out all the options and I had bought my dads favorite cereal. Cohen looked at it and said "that's dado's cereal, i wish I could eat it with him"......ahhhhhhh  I said "me too honey".....ahhhhh screaming inside!
I took the kids to school and when I picked them up Dad and Sandy were waiting  in the lobby.
I love this video but it does highlight one of my quirks...I get a crazy giggle when I cry:)

So what do you do when Grandparents are in town?  McDonald's of course
We then drove around the town, they boys took a nap, a good one.  Savvy's face is priceless

The next day we drove to Joseph Oregon and had lunch at Coco's.  Savvy picked it because that is what she called Cohen before she could say his name.  Cohen told two people this story

I thought Savvy would have lost her tooth 2 weeks ago but it was hanging in strong, even dad couldn't get it.

Wednesday Dad and Sandy went walking downtown, we had a picnic, nap, soccer then Sandy's famous lasagna dinner
Last day here.  Such a fun time but REALLY hard saying goodbye:(
