He Roars Back at the Thunder

My Cohen.  He's sweet and stubborn, brave and timid, brilliant and goofy.  He feels deeply and loves hard, supplies endless cuddles and oh and if it thunders he roars back... literally :)

Best Weekend Ever

Saturday morning I woke up at 7 to my phone ringing.  It was in the living room and you better believe I was not getting up to get it.  I thought oh it's someone from Memphis who forgot we are 2 hours behind.  Then Michael's phone went off and he jumped out of bed to get it.... I knew something was up but still had yet to open my eyes :)  I then heard Michael open the front door and I thought hmmm he must have had something delievered, but never did it cross my mind that someone might be here.  I heard him walking back to our bedroom and decided to open my eyes and there is my mom!!!!  They got me good, I had absolutely NO idea!  We got all day Saturday and half the day Sunday with CJ.

So how could this weekend possibly get any better????  How about a baby shower!  Sunday my amazing friends Renee, Andraya and Dyan hosted a shower.  It was beautiful and wonderful and my heart is so overfull with love I think I could burst
By that night I had everything washed and put away.  I've been nesting but when mom came in it took my nesting to a whole new level.  I walk into the girls room at least 20 times a day, to look in Norah's drawers, open the closet, rock in the rocker, organize diapers for the 100th time... I am in complete baby bliss
I love this picture of us...I didn't know I could make that face
Savvy, of course, was at the shower and she opened all the presents:)  She also wanted to dress like me, have I mentioned that I love her

Spring Break

Spring Break was last week and we had...for the most part... a really good week.  I had scheduled my dr. appointment for this week forgetting I would have all 3 kids.  They ended up doing so good.  Cohen was a complete chatter box and was telling Susan(midwife) all about how he is going to invent a machine that makes lizards... with all the details.  Caleb is so funny when we listen to Norah's heart beat because he is convinced it's a "choo-choo train" but can't find where the noise is coming from.

They all got to hold the baby again

Later in the week we went to pioneer park to try out the jumbo ball dado and grammy got the kids for Easter.  While Michael was getting the ball blown up the albino peacock was trying to impress some of his friends.
Jumbo ball was an enormous hit with belly laughs coming from the whole family minus Caleb.  Caleb does Not like the ball.  The park has a sledding hill that the kids and Michael were going down, it was hilarious

                                                  We had an art session
She wrote a S, A and N above the flowers.  Savannah, Ashley and Norah... She makes my heart mushy
He was saying "I am batman"  I have Never seen a love for superheros like this boy has

Caleb had a run in with our dinning room table.  It hurt him so bad and knocked him flat on his back (he was running full speed).  It is such an ugly bruise and I didn't know your ear could bruise.  It doesn't hurt him anymore and if I ask how his ear is, his response is always "table"  He is holding a grudge :)

Easter

The Easter festivities started on Friday with the boys hunting eggs at Cohen's school.  Cohen also had his program and was adorable.  One of the songs he sang went like this... according to Cohen..."This is how we know what love is, Jesus Christ, laid down his wife..."  ummmm, but he was so sweet and sincere :)
Saturday Michaels work had a hunt with the Easter bunny.  Caleb was not feeling the bunny this year.  When we all walked out to see him Caleb screamed with huge eyes BUNNY and stayed on my hip anytime the bunny hopped by

Sunday morning the Easter bunny came, along with gifts from grandparents.  The Easter bunny brought us a family movie night.  We went Monday night and the total was $50.50 and we saw a matinee.  It makes me so sad because all of us love the movies

Here we are before church
