Party

Cohen wanted a batman party this year. We decided to do it at our house and invite his closest friends. We had so much fun, Michael set up a tent, hammock and a fire for smores. Cohen had 4 costume changes during the party and yes one was just in his underwear...

Precious M.A. She came to his party last year right after knee replacement surgery. This year she broke her ankle. I'm praying the trend doesn't continue and next year she will be right in the middle of the craziness

Mom, again made an adorable cake but I forgot to get a good picture of it.

If pictures could talk. Cohen had somehow talked sweet mimi into feeding him his pizza

My baby's 4

Cohen... just writing his name makes me smile. I honestly don't think I could love this precious boy anymore. I love his big brown eyes, the way he pretends he's a dog, how he named this dog charlie, how all of his stuff animals have names, and he knows all of them, he loves to cuddle, he loves to cuddle, he loves to cuddle, how he can't stand to have on anything more than underwear if we are at the house, his laugh, how he can't pass up a good book or movie, that he is absolutely hilarious without trying, his passion, the face he give us when he gets in trouble, he tells me about his dreams every morning, the way he says mommy. I'm going to stop because I'm crying... Happy 4th Birthday Cohen, I love you, my wonderful son.

Treinta

Michael turned 30 last week! Mom and him have the same birthday and we decided to have a fiesta, I pulled out all the cards. Enchiladas, tamales, beans, rice and yes cokes in a bottle. I love this picture for probably a thousand reasons but my number one was that Cohen was in his underwear and now that it is posted I realized he must have had an itch. Cohen in his underwear is such a normal occurrence that it didn't even phase me when I was taking the pics, yep I love my family.

Then for the weekend we were able to leave the kids at home and went with this fabulous couple to Nashville...traveling in the minivan. It was FABULOUS, we met two other couples there and went to Yazoo brewery that afternoon and out to eat that night. I slept till 8:45 Sunday morning, this is the equivalent to 3pm to a teenager.

I have been celebrating Michael's birthday since he turned 19, I really, really like him. Happy 30th!

Not excatly as we planned it

We have been planning for over a month to take the family camping (yes including Caleb). The kids were pumped to say the least, Michael got everything packed and we headed out Friday afternoon. We went to Big Hill Pond state park and planned on staying Friday and Saturday night. It was packed when we got there but there was a spot open next to the boy scout camp site and it was perfect. We got everything unloaded and played, relaxed and went hiking, it was wonderful. I loved having no phone service, no TV, no Internet.

We decided to take picture of ourselves experiencing different situations. Here we are surprised

Making someone laugh

Just smelled something horrible...

After that we went hiking. Michael and I think we did about 2 miles. Savannah is incredible, if we would let her she would and could run the whole thing. Hands down she can run longer than I can.

We were on the board walk, it goes over the swamp and leads to the fire tower, pretty cool. This guy was sad that I made him stop to take his pic

This is how the hike ended. Caleb was over it and Cohen's legs didn't want to work. Good thing they've got a strong daddy

We came back ate hamburgers, smores, played with sparklers. Then just before we hit the hay, in rolled a group of college kids. It was bad, like crazy drunk party bad. Savvy and Cohen slept through it, Caleb woke up twice and we went to bed around 3. They were very apologetic in the morning, i think after getting nasty stares from everyone who camped within 20 miles from them. But in the morning Cohen had a fever, so we packed up and headed home. We still had an amazing time and baby monkey just, like the other two love camping.
