We are soaking up the last drop of summer

 We went and stayed a weekend in South Fulton, TN with the Mcdaniels

 Aprils dad took us girls to a Civil War cemetery… at night…  He is a history teacher and lover of all things civil war.  He told us so many amazing stories.  It was incredible and spooky

 I have tried most of my life to learn how to french braid and STILL this is the best I can do… I just can't get it :)

 Mom, MA, Michael and I got to go see Dolly Parton.  She was amazing and if I get the chance, I want to see her again

 I got to take a girls trip to Nashville to help Celebrate baby Everly

Savvys 10

My Savvy bug!  She is just magical, pretty, sweet and smart :)  I can't believe that I get to be her mom.  She told me a few weeks before her birthday that she loved llamacorns and wanted that for her birthday cake.  I have never heard of llamacorns so I did what I always do… google and call mom:)  Her and mom made this majestic creature and it was AMAZING and caused countless giggles and explanations

I love you Savannah!  May you always love llamacorns and keep the fierceness of Rey :)

Wynne and Whaaa

 After Michael and Savvy left I decided we would go and visit Mom and MA for a couple of days.

I was glad to get there so I could have some sympathy for my poison ivy:)  I'm 34 and it is the first time I've every had it… and its miserable.  New spots kept showing up and it was all over my body.  After the 6th day and new spots still showing up, I got on a steroid and that made it so much better.  But still when I got off of it some new spots came up, but its all gone now.  I think that Indie must have been getting into it and then I was getting it from her

 Mom had to travel for work and she had left early that morning and when I woke up MA was still asleep… which never happens.  I called mom and she said she had gotten sick through out the night… So I let her sleep a little bit, then brought her some water and toast and she was burning up.  Long story short, we called the dr., went to the dr, went to the er, got admitted to the hospital :(  I am so very thankful we were there.  She's as strong as an ox now and waking up before me again:)

 Dr. Cohen took good care of her :)  Every time we came up there we left with gloves and masks.  Sweet MA, she was always trying to smile but she was so sick :(

 Mom introduced Cohen to pokemon go, and we all loved it… ha!

EVERY  SINGLE DAY something like this happens.  No prompting, no explanation.  Whats funny is my response to the craziness in our home now, like this one, when she walked in naked and a bowl on her head I didn't say a word just let her keep on walking.  Then called her back in, took her picture and went back to cooking with the giggles.  Still have no idea what she was doing but it lasted for a good 30 minutes…. I encourage creative play over here :)

Savvy lost her first molar and WHAT…. I had no idea we lost our molars.  But after calling my MIL in a panic… its supposed to happen, then the molar got knocked off the counter and still is lost… we think Indie ate it

Our Savvy bug went on her first summer camp!  We were the overprotective parents though… Michael went as a chaperone… Savvy in Kentucky for a week, alone, without us… whoa whoa whoa, were not there yet:)  Hopefully we will not be camping out at her dorm when she starts college

Summer

We LOVE Summer

Savvy got bitten by a fire ant (we think) and her poor foot!  This was the worst day and it took about a week for it to get back to normal

Michael's work has a picnic every June and it is so fun but oh so very hot

 Took the olders to the pink palace and we watched a show about black holes in the planetarium, that blew Cohens mind :)

 

                    We went with the Cousins to their lake house

 Finally tried out the green line and I loved it so much.  Its all paved and  most of the trail we were on was shaded.  Michael mapped out our trip to have a stop at chick fil a and we got milk shakes before we made it back to the car. All of us had a great time

And that one time michael peddled me around the neighborhood in the toddler bike trailer.  We were laughing so hard and the kids didn't think it was funny at all… all humor aside, I loved it, we really need adult versions of this

We had our 2nd annual 4th of July fish fry at our house.  Michael's family comes over and its always a great time

 I honestly don't understand how my children are such amazing eaters.  I always have fruit and veggies for meals and have tried to keep a mostly healthy diet but they take it to the extremes.  Really I love it but I can't take any credit for it.  But they are weirdos, Norah went through a phase where she wanted sweet peas for breakfast

 and all 3 of them will eat bell peppers like apples.  And this was breakfast too, oatmeal and bell peppers…. totally amazing, wonderful weirdos :)

 I don't think I could find the words to describe the intensity of Love Savvy has for Norah.  She is the best big sister, hands down
