Go Drew Go

My brother ran his first half marathon last Sunday. He did awesome, his time was 2:03:00!!! Mine in 2004 was 2:46:24, ha but I finished! We were so so proud of him and I LOVED going out to support him. It always makes me weepy when someone sets a goal and meets it, and then make that someone my brother and I'm fighting tears the whole time! The kids made him a poster and I was trying to tell my dad about it and out comes my shaky voice. It cracks me up but I honestly can't help it.

St. Patrick's Day

On March 17th one year ago I found out I was pregnant! I tied a green bow around the pregnancy test and had Savvy give it to Michael. St. Patrick's Day has never been so sweet.

We had a great...GREAT day. We met Mimi, Patrick and Maggie at the park, had a picnic and played for 2 hours. The kids were leprechaun hunting, Caleb slept and Mimi and I just got to talk, it was wonderful.

Happy Birthday Maggie!

My niece turned one on Monday! She is such a precious little girl and we are crazy about her. We love you Maggie Moo!

Pokey Dokey

WE HAVE LOST OUR MINDS. The pictures are sketchy, I was holding the camera and video camera at the same time.

Michael came home with a little surprise last Saturday...

And here he is! We wanted the kids to name him and Savvy chose Pokey Dokey, AKA Poe.

My favorite picture of the night. Cohen told me he wanted to sing Poe a song, he ran in the house to get his ukulele and sang to our newest family member.

And it's gone...

Cohen has asked several times to have hair like daddy. Last summer Michael tried to buzz Cohen's hair but I would have NONE OF IT. I love his hair and I love his hair long. Well after several weeks of nagging I gave in and we cut all of my baby boys hair!

Half way.... And the final product..... We are spring/summer ready. He loves it, and finally a week later has not asked to look in the mirror to see his buzz

February Recap

What a fun month we had! The kids are growing up before my eyes. Here is what we were up too...

Caleb played with a toy for the first time and has turned into a chunk. I'm not sure if he will be able to wear Cohen's hand-me-downs for long, baby boy is going to need an all new wardrobe
