Our Cohen💕. Michael started planning his backpacking trip this spring and his prep payed off big time. All the family helped get Cohen decked out with fantastic gear and he was estatic. We went to Big South Fork, hiked a total of 7 miles and he did amazing. We were torn between going here or east TN so Michael gave him an option of mountains or squirrel hunting and he chose hunting.
The week before we left I found myself praying hard for this trip. Savannahs was insanely amazing, we loved it, she loved it, it was perfect. I wanted it to be just as special to Cohen.
It was, he didn't want to leave, we didn’t want to leave. The weather was perfect, fishing, mining and baking river clay, playing in the creek. He loved it!
On the first day they found clay in the river. Cohen spent hours upon hours digging up clay
On our last night we put the clay in our campfire and it baked!
