Summer

Our Summer was relaxing and busy and went by way to fast.  We did a whole lot of swimming
                                    Re-familiarized ourselves with the zoo

Michael had to work in Nashville and we tagged along.  We spent the weekend with Patrick and Maggie in Murfreesboro.
And spent a day with Drew, I LOVE this picture, I cannot remember what happened to Caleb's hair but he just looks so proud

I found our old Kayla board and taught the kids
They are crazy about each other
Savannah plays teacher every.single.day.  It's her outlet and her passion.  The playroom closet is all hers, she has her desk and pens, paper, books, broken computer, white board…I could go on and on.  I will sit outside the closet door and listen to her, she is just magical

Caleb has turned into the ladies man.  Addie told her mom she was going to marry Caleb so she could kiss him!!!  I must say he is pretty kissable :)

Norah loves the water, so much so that it scares me to death.  She hates all floats and wants to run around the pool and jump in and is perfectly content having me chase her around
Caleb told me one morning that he saw eyes in our toy box, I looked out, didn't see anything and brushed it off.  Later he told me he saw it again and I ignored him and sent everyone outside to play, and all of us were getting toys in and out of the box.  When we were going back inside Caleb mentioned the eyes again, so I went over and started pulling out all of the toys (it was full) AND THERE IT WAS.  An opossum.  I flipped out and started screaming for the kids to get in the house and locked the doors.  Michael set it free that night….ugh…ugh

Day 2

We started the day with Caroline and Ike taking us to the Navy Academy in Maryland.   It was beautiful and we were able to get so much great information about the campus from Ike.

We had a crab filled lunch (that was delicious) in Annapolis , then headed over to pick up mom!  Our first stop was to Georgetown to get cupcakes.   We left with way too many and they were all gone by that night
We then checked out the Natural History museum

Norah was covering her eyes because that was a mean T-Rex checking her out
Julianna and Savannah getting attacked by a great white
We then walked over to the Washington Monument
Savannah trying to pick up the monument

                                            World War 2 Memorial
                                             Lincoln Memorial

It was such a wonderful day, all the monuments were beautiful and it was such a privilege to experience everything with my mom and my girls.  After the Lincoln Memorial we had to walk back 3 miles to our car.  We were exhausted and the kids were exhausted but were troopers.  They would take turns ridding in the stroller with Norah and we all slept SO good that night!

D.C. Day 1

The girls and I got to take a long weekend to visit our friends in D.C.!  We were all so excited.  I took a trip to D.C. with my grandmother when I was young and have wonderful memories from it, so I couldn't wait to see what Savvy thought about it.
We made it on the plane and were ready to go
Caroline and Mason picked us up from the airport and we went to Old Town for pizza.  The restaurant gave the kids dough to play with or to make their own crust.  Mason made Olaf and Norah nursed on hers :)
We then picked up Julianna from school and toured Mount Vernon.  It was gorgeous and fascinating and the girls were hilarious

                                                 Lady Washington

After playing the red coats drums (Mason wouldn't play and I think mad at the girls that they would do such a thing) we headed back to their house had dinner and crashed
