Caleb 1 month
Caleb is such a great baby. He is very content and hardly cries. I'm nursing him but we have given him a bottle (of breast milk). I didn't give Cohen a bottle until 4 months and he would not take one...it was no fun not being able to leave him for more than 3 hours. So we are making sure Caleb will take a bottle. He is eating every 2-3 hours and will occasionally go 4 hours at night. He starts out to sleep in his crib, but when he wakes up I put him in the bed with us, which has been wonderful. I'm more rested than I ever was with the other two. Savvy and Cohen are crazy about him. I'm trying to teach them about personal space because they are all over him:)

Christmas
I was so bad about taking pictures this year...probably because I was nursing Caleb every 2 hours:) Dad, mom and my brothers came over in the morning, at one we headed over to Michael's parents and then we took my mom and brothers to the airport (they went to Spain! Can't wait to show the dress mom got Savvy)
My little buddy! He is so happy, he started smiling in his first month. He smiled first at Michael and when he told me I told him it was gas babies didn't smile this early. Sure enough Michael would do this crazy sound and every time Caleb would smile. This is him looking at my dad

Our Week
We have had a really fun week. Monday was the kids Christmas program at school. Savannah was supposed to be Mary. She came out crying and once she saw me she ran to me and wouldn't let me go. So luckily another little girl agreed to put on the costume and be Mary and Savannah sat out the whole time:( We did manage to get her to get a pic at the end of the program.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!! And you know what that means? It’s time for me to start thinking about one of my favorite holiday pastimes…sending out my Christmas Cards!
***
I really hate that people don’t get into this as much as they use to. What happened to sending everyone a warm holiday greeting?! For me, it’s one of the cheapest ways to let someone know you’re thinking about them. And as much as I love sending them, I love receiving them even more! I love getting home from work and finding that little happy waiting for us in our mailbox…I only wish that more people would feel the same way that I do!
***
Shutterfly is seriously one of the easiest avenues for ordering your Christmas cards, pictures, and all the other goodies they offer online. They have tons of options for you to choose from, and are very reasonably priced, too.

Here are some of the top contenders for my family Christmas card this year...the first and second are my favorite!

Those two just take me back to my childhood!
And these are just the tip of the iceberg! They really have so many cute ones, that its hard to choose just one. So head on over to Shutterfly and check out their Christmas cards, but don't forget to look at the Christmas Tags, too....AND the wall calendars! I always say I'm going to do a wall calendar for my mom and MIL for Christmas, and I always slack off and never get it done...not this year though!
So don't be a scrooge this year, and head on over to Shutterfly and send your loved ones some Christmas cards! I promise that they'll be glad that you did! And once you find your perfect Christmas card, make sure to blog about it, too, so that you can benefit from their new promotion...check it out here!!!

He works hard for the...
At birth Caleb was 20 1/2in. long and 6 lbs 14oz. Monday we took him to the Dr. and he weighs 7lbs and 6 oz!!!!! He gained 8 oz in a week just nursing! I told Michael on the day Caleb was born he was going to be a hard worker because he would nurse for 45 minutes straight never slowing down and keeping his eyes open. I really credit it to not getting any pain medicine during birth as to why he was has been so alert. The rest of the check up went great and I'm going to take him back again next Monday. Our pediatrician likes to see them at 5 days and two weeks.
Cohen got stuck in the sink trying to see his green teeth from a Christmas tree cookie. He started yelling my name and this is how I found him
Savvy thought that Flounder on Caleb's head made for a great hat.
On our way to the Dr.
Today is my first day alone all day with all 3 kids. It has been fantastic. Savvy got irritated that her breakfast was pushed back because I was feeding Caleb but other than that everyone has been very happy, and mommy is happy because nap time is coming...yay!!!
Here are some of the events of the day...
